Reading a Book instead of playing a Game
How long has it been since you pick up a book to read? What about an newspaper, a journal or any thing that resemble reading material? It is a know fact that people do not read as much as people once did. With video games and computer games running a muck the youth and young adults just do not read like they use to.
According to Robyn Jackson
and only less than 20 percent of the people have bought a book and read it to finish. This is not good, where have we gone so wrong? I find myself reading more now then ever before. This is only June and this year I have read 22 books although there is one book I must read again (Eat Love Pray). Reading to me sends you on an adventure like know other. If the story is a good one you can put yourself in the story and take the ride.
According to Esther Lombardi , from About .com guide states that people do not read because not enough money, not enough experience, too tired, too hard and it’s not a habit. Okay call me crazy it a book not rocket science. Find something you like stop be cheap and buy the book. There are libraries all over the country if you can not afford to buy a book.
I sale books in our shop, all these books I have read a one time or another. However, these are brand new books. So stop by Alfina’s Place 2126 E Hwy 190, Suite 3, Copperas Cove, Texas 76522
Here is my list book I like.

by Richard Paul Evans
Bestselling author Richard Paul Evans invites you to join him on a very special adventure: For the next five years, journey with him across America in the first series he’s ever written—The Walk.
The Walk, the first novel in the series, is the story of Alan Christoffersen, who believes he has everything important in life—a successful business, wealth, health, luxury cars, a big home in an exclusive neighborhood and a beautiful wife he adores.
Then tragedy strikes—in five weeks he loses everything. Convinced that he has nothing to live for, Alan decides to walk as far from his home in Bellevue, Washington as possible—Key West, Florida, more than 3,000 miles away. Alan Christoffersen’s walk is a metaphor for our own lives, with the struggles and tragedies we all must endure and the choices we face in responding to them.
“The Walk is one of my most thoughtful books yet, filled with ponderings, insights and Alan Christoffersen’s Diary entries as he journeys across America on an adventure that leads him from despair to a new life and new understanding,” writes Richard. “You won’t want to put it down until the very end as you reach a fresh perspective on your own walk in today’s world.”
